The Unrevealed

Amidst the tears and the dirt and the holy clutter,
Lurks an Intelligence.

Beyond the speeches of just men and those who stand upon others,
Lies a Righteousness.

Against the blinding brilliance of love that bleeds the eyes dry,
Beams the warm darkness of Solitude.

Beneath the confusion of theories and postulations,
Awaits the Emptiness.

In the corner of my mind covered by the dust of a thousand worries,
Sits Myself, awaiting discovery...

Smile In A Window

Standin outside in the rain
watching.
Staring at the pane of your window,
I pray for our day
To be made.

Trust is a cold blooded killer
have no faith.
But the moment i see your face.
I put away all those things
my trust remains.

Can't you look outside?
Give me your smile for a while?
Take me high into the sky...

The spider upon your window
spins away.
Weaving my web of sorrow,
A dusty drape of black and grey
right in your face.

The glass washed in the downpour
I see my cure.
Now the cold black web is no more,
the fog endures mist ensures
i see no more.

The stormy clouds pass on by
Clear sky.
the window creaks on open,
and for a while i see your smile
heaven's child.

Seconds till you see me waiting
down below.
A voice calls from behind the window,
shutter close and im alone
no place to go.

Can't you look outside?
Give me your smile for a while?
Take me high into the sky...

Sitting outside alone...
No where no place called home...
Waiting for the smile i saw in a window...

Words never Spoken

What's there for me to want?

All me wants left burning with you

In the fire you walked through

Coming out something new

Once every now and then I reminisce

Your old self calls out to me

My heart pains for you, broken

and regrets the words never spoken

The worst parts come to me

The questions never answered

Why you left me no space to say,

and why did you ever go away?

At least let me know... should I stay ???

The Curse

Black hair Black eyes...Black eyes I used to stare into for a moment feeling like I had done so for a lifetime. All the Black and the White... where has it gone now???

Away... Far away. Locked in a high tower upon a high lonely mountain . Surrounded by a moat full of Evil Things with sharp razor teeth and muscles of lead. High in the coold dark clouds Dragons circling the ramparts in the sky on their wings of steel leather screaming fire into the night.

A daring intrusion on the fort and a devilish escape could set you free. But how can I destroy your defenses since they prevail on your orders? I dare not damage the thorns you have grown around you if doing so will only destroy what you have spent your life to build.

Then tell me how can I save you from the curse that you have cast upon yourself?

Behind These Walls

And as I sit here all alone I think about all the attempts I've ever made. Each time only wishing for the best for the other person and yet each time getting burnt over and over till the scars scorch right through.

I only wish that we could talk, sit together alone under a tree on a hill with the green grass and in view of the sea as we both like it and open ourselves to each other like we've never done before, but always come so close to doing.

Sometimes as I look back into your life I wonder I the absences you made were not intentional at all. Maybe i wasn't actually that significant. Maybe you never thought of me as anyone important because I never pretended like the others.

And other times I blame myself beyond repair for missing out on that possible chance. Is it possible I was distracted? Confused? Yes that for sure. But we both know of the bond. For sure there was something between us.

But how can I ask you when your so far away. When i think about I feel something bleeding inside me. I question the high walls around me all day. They stare back at me and all i hear is the silence. Are you dead on the inside. If so I have the fire to relight your flame.

The only question is my friend... where are you today?

Be My Light

Hold me darkness,

Hold me tight.

The world has collapsed,

All is night.

With a grinding crunch,

Everything stopped spinning.

Cold is the air,

Fear is winning.

In my corner,

All curled up.

Whimpering in fright,

Like a newborn pup.

Waiting for the light,

Illuminate my misery.

Take me by the hand,

Turn sorrow to history.

This tomb is sealing,

My heart is weakening.

All is night,

Until you sing to me.

Flower of Blood

Upon the grassy meadow I lay,

Amidst the flowers of sunny May.

I see a yellow daffodil,

Hear the birds of yonder hill.

My knees shattered,

Hands bitter cold,

The bullet in my stomach,

Fierce and bold.

Fixed stare at the West,

Watching the yellow sun rest.

Sweet smell of the valley,

Brings memories of my dear Sally.

Screech of the machines,

Twitching my ears.

Enemy of ten-thousand flames,

Torture and sear.

Back in the fields again,

Harvest, family, nature and friends.

About the tractor the children dance,

Farm dog in his sleepy trance.

The dark Sheppard arrives,

With his lean staff.

Cry of the devil,

Chills the night.

Twisted sinews,

Chips of bone.

With the daffodil now red,

The forsaken freed in death.

(In memory of all those deceased in conflict)
